I may end up being out for this since my mom's birthday is on the 8th and we are going to do something after the Cheeseburger Loop. So depending on how late that runs(I need sleep)I may miss C&C and HF. I have to leave here around 4AM to get to C&C by 7:30 or so and that makes for one hell of a long day after wheeling. I will be back at the river again in August the weekend of C&C and that's only an hour drive so I will try to pop in on y'all again then for sure.

Mentioned earlier, I'm planning on doing Big Bend before Thanksgiving. Happy to make it a group thing if people are interested. I didn't realize there was a group going in October, but I won't be able to make that one regardless.

My tentative plan is to arrive the Friday or Saturday prior to Thanksgiving. Saturday is a new moon which will make for some epic starry skies and photo ops. Thinking of staying 3 nights. I want to run Black Gap and Old Ore roads. Camping at Chisos Basin is booked so options are limited to backcountry, first-come basis. I'd like to do sunset/sunrise hikes around The Window and maybe Lost Mine. Need to keep hikes short since my 5-yo son will likely be with me. Possibly the wife and girl too.

Man, the timing of this one is better for me more than the one i linked earlier. I am interested in this for sure (a f). This could allow me to do a solo run with the Overland Bound folks to the Enchanted Rockies trail in September and then take the kiddo out in November. The kiddo gets the whole thanksgiving week off from school too.

While we're on the topic of group adventures, @riz_atx and I briefly touched the topic of an PanAmerican trip. I know a guy who has done it and would give advise, but I feel as a first timer, a group thing would be not only more eventful, but safer. Latin America can be a sketchy place, especially coming in with 40k rigs.

Would anyone be interested in doing a group PanAmerican trip?

    Heyyyyy, uh, @riz_atx ?

So, would you happen to have links to what you used to wire up your accessories when you bought your SwitchPro? @Tynan and I might just be diagramming out how to wire ours out right now, and can use some suggestions. Yours was all puuuuurdy.
