Looks like it's a heads up notification of the recall. It sounds classy calling it an "interim notification." We need more classy notifications here in the states. We just get "bring your truck in...and we'll take care of y'all" notification. Then they hi-jack our truck for a month. o_O

Canada is 150 METRIC years old.

    There is a difference - 5 American = 6 Canadian years.

Well in the meantime just periodically look underneath and check the lube level, not to be serious here. I pick up my 2017 TRD OR Friday. Hope it isn't one affected.

    No locking diffs are affected.

This is just an interm mailing, it's very normal and people still continue to panic.

My Taco has been in the shop for 3 weeks, they said it had a little oil showing, and my friends, 7 weeks! Still waiting on parts they say. Only good side is, racking the milage on the rental THEY are paying for! But here's the kicker, I sold my house in the process of waiting for repairs, and moving out of state!!! Going down to the dealer July 5th and have a heart to heart chat.....SMH!

That's a "warranty" repair not a recall.... fun stuff right?
