    Scratches, dents, lots of squeaks.
    Looking for a pellet gun power full enough to kill small rabbits. Not looking to break the bank. What are my options?

    I use a Gamo .177 caliber, advertised at 1000 or 1100 fps (don't recall which). Works great.

    BTW, I learned the hard way that scopes not built for air rifles don't last.

    I'd go with gamo...inexpensive at walmart. .22 cal if its available.

    I have 2 dogs and a cat that are pretty effective at controlling my rabbit problem...I just wish they would quit dragging them into the house after killing them...
