Have you ever used the navigation on your sport? The tone that it plays when a turn is coming up, right around 400hz, is the noise I hear. Just imagine that tone going on indefinitely instead of for 1 second.

Its loudest around 55-60mph but the range that it occurs has expanded 40-70mph.

Agreed, it is certainly not a pleasant sound.

    2016 trd sport blazing blue,
They dont build em like they used to thats for sure, my ram is the same size as my 16 tacoma except height cuz the 35's and 5.5" lift, had a new rental ram for a bit and enjoyed driving it but man that thing was huge. I jumped into a 2014 tacoma offroad in 2014 after having some tranny issues and loved it, ended up trading it because i needed the bigger cab and long box (auto... sigh)

The sacrifices humans can make to adapt is just mind numbing. I hope to never have to go through that.

6500 miles on my 2017 DCSB OR 4x4. I've had many tacos and pre-tacos over the years, and honestly they all had their issues. For me each one lacked some comfort feature that I wish I'd had. But that was just me being picky. This is the first Taco I've bought new, and I sprung for all the bells. Makes me very happy, this truck. Only thing lacking is that I wish it was Quicksand! Just kidding. I've had none of the problems stated here, except for the hunting tranny. Asked the dealership to do the TSB and they refused, so am going to corporate in time for my 10k service. Other than that, just a joy to drive and wheel in.

    My God man.

#2 Take your truck to the dealer and get that kazoo noise fixed. This has been an issue since 2005. My 2010 had it and I almost went nuts - since I took it to the dealership to get fixed, it has not come back.

#3 Buy Sil-glide disc brake grease
Grease all the pivot points as shown in the following link
Again, this issues has been around since 2005. My creaked like a barn door and I tried everything (WD-40, general purpose grease, graphite grease, white grease) and the only thing that worked past 2 months is the Sil-glide.
    #1, #4, #5, #6, #7.....well....Turd Gen :notsure: Nuff said :bananadead:
