Except that's not true either. I did the devil horns and the A-pillar mount and the mirror riser bracket all myself.

So you can all suck it.

I swapped out the old console knobs for the light up ones. I'll post pics in a bit...

So I'm about a billion years late, but better late than never, right.

    Central Oregon
    June 22 - 25
    Total Mileage: ~800

The trip down to Bend was gorgeous and scenic. I drove south on I-5 to Salem, then headed east. Got to see some gorgeous mountain passes, Detroit Lake, and several more spots I definitely want to stop and see again in the future.

Brandon and Hannah were already waiting for me when I pulled up. It was amazing to finally meet them!
    2017-06-22 17.38.52.jpg

The house was adorable and the back deck was absolutely perfect.
    2017-06-25 18.41.26.jpg

    Cody finally showed up, too.
    2017-06-22 20.08.38.jpg

We ate Hannah's amazing enchiladas, sat around outside and drank, and just relaxed after our long days.

The next morning, we were ready for our first adventure: Smith Rock State Park. We gassed up and were off!

It was absolutely stunningly beautiful up there. We were completely unprepared, so we didn't get to hike quite as far as we would've liked to. We'll just have to plan a return trip.

I even managed to snag a few patches while I was there....
    2017-06-23 12.41.28.jpg

We returned home, tired and dusty. Half of us took naps, but Cody and I found ourselves a bit restless... so we decided to take a little drive....

We started with Dutch Bros, because Oregon. We aimlessly drove around, just seeing what was around the town, and stumbled upon a magical little OHV park: The Cline Buttes Recreation Area. We took a drive up a big hill...
    2017-06-23 18.09.52.jpg

And the views at the top were amazing. You could see every mountain for miles....

We finally went home... and waited for Benz and his lovely wife. Finally the whole crew was there!

    The party could finally start!

The next morning, we were up bright and early. So were the deer.
    2017-06-27 10.06.04.jpg

We said our final goodbyes to Hannah and Brandon, who were heading off to Crater Lake...

Finally it was time to hit the road and find a good camping spot. We found ourselves on some FS roads up near Bull Prairie Lake. Lots of dust, ruts, a few rocks, and a little mud....

The next morning, we had one final fire...
    2017-06-26 12.17.38.jpg

And then Cody forgot his nasty beer in my cooler...
    2017-06-25 19.51.43.jpg

The trip was amazing and I can't wait for the next one. Bend and the surround area is amazing and there was a lot I didn't get to explore.

P.S. I totally stole pics from Kevin and Cody and Brandon. Lubewe.

    Nooooope. Avoided. Thank god.

For real. And frankly, Oregon might be the best place to make it happen. Oregon is just about perfect.

You have TWO 80s? You should definitely give one to me because that repetition is just silly.
