Our cat got really freaked out by the fireworks last night, hadn't expected that, took a few hours before he came out of hiding, and even now he is skittish.

How did you do last night Chuck? Was it quiet?

That sound like a great day for the family, I am glad to hear you brought a happy memory for the grandkids, that is what they needed.

Good morning folks. Getting a late start but, screw it. I work today and tomorrow, then off for 3 days, start vacation on Monday for 4 days, then off for 3 more days then back to work next Monday.

I had planned to get some welding done today but one of the generators up north needs a new battery. Tomorrow I have to head north ( but further east) to bring back the mini-excavator and get it turned in.

When I get back from vacation I'll work 3 or so weeks then off for another week. Going to go see the youngest son at Ft. Hood. The last time I seen that place was July 1989. I'm sure a lot has changed and, yet, a lot is the same.

 

Kid leaves for Philmont scout ranch in NM sunday, 2 week backpack, I did 2 in a row, this will be his 3rd. He will go as an adult leader...no Dad tagging along.

Of course the 'adult' is missing a few key items and Dad has to help.


I understand what I did to my parents more and more everyday.

Looking at tw porn.
Starting to arrange music files for carols phone.
Trying to make it through the day and plan for my projects next week.
I have the nicest looking drive way in the neighborhood.
Well, for a few months anyway.. Lol

Working inside and still sweating. up and down from attic. Got 2 fixture drops done. Had to take a break. Concrete at 11. Looks like the bigger fish got the first call.

Morning chores are done and sitting in the Sand decompressing.

 

Ok I will bite other then appearing to be a shaft of some type you state bore so inner sleeve and weld then ream / turn to final size?
