My first ever new vehicle, my first Tacoma and my first Toyota!!! (although I do drive a nice Tundra for winter work).

I live in British Columbia, Canada and just picked up my 2017 Tacoma OR yesterday! I wasted no time taking it for a spin this AM in my "backyard". I am so stoked.IMG_3130.jpg

I am trying to separate out "wants" vs "needs" moving forward with this truck, but once you look around TW, the lines get awfully blurry LOL.

My first priority is a canopy and a platform with storage/drawers to house all of my SAR, skiing, camping and dog gear. I have a lot of crap! That should keep me busy and poor for sometime.

Trying to figure out how I can justify the Bro Grill as necessary lol.

By the time I have this stuff figured out I will have to be looking at winter tires..., boring, but a requirement where I live.

Welcome... now run before you blow all your "loonies" on mods that you"need".

PS love your backyard and the truck.

Pleasant surprise that my dog kennel fit in the back seat with the seats folded down! Ratchet strapped it down and it didn't even rattle on some burley terrain this am.

I would love to have something custom in the back seat-I had a home made mod in my last truck that had a kennel side and an open side, but it involved taking the seats right out to really have the room I wanted. I like the idea of having something less permanent that still lets me take it out and use the seats if I have company. I will have the possibility of second crate in the canopy eventually. I have seem some cool stuff here with the platforms over the downed seats, and I could add window breezeguards, but I am kind of liking the chance to have the dog hair and dirt a little more contained in my new purchase!

PS-Ummm anyone else notice the coincidence that the crate matches the truck. Ha ha.

Holly crap. You could put a bear in that crate. It looks like a bank vault. I just lay down a blanket for the puppers. I have not taken Ollie off road...yet.
