    I came back from cross country and my work truck was snatched up while it sat in the yard. Apparently another guy crashed his and is using mine while his gets fixed. This is the fourth week driving the buggy to work while waiting for someone else's truck to get fixed... Only thing worse than not having a company DD is having one than not having one lol

    Too many but also not enough mods
    I'm new to all of this so I have a bunch of stupid questions.

    How are the green trails?? I have a TRD off road and should be fine but my friend has a 05 Dakota.

    Is it possible to arrive Friday night to camp out so I don't have to leave my house at 4 in the morning? Do I really need a CB radio? Any tow straps, air machine you recommend? Any other things I need to bring besides fire extinguisher, food, drinks?

    Green trails range from dirt roads you could get a Subaru down, to mild washouts that your off-road will have no issue on if you have good tires. You will probably have some scrapes on the bottom, but last year we took a stock 4runner with bald tires and had no real issues.

    Many of us are arriving Thursday night or Friday morning, come stake out a camp site and look for the street legal trucks with RTTs (the non-street legal rigs are the Northeast Crawlers guys) also cool to hang out with.

    Tow strap is a good idea, so is a CB, but not absolutely required. There is alot of cb chatter during the day, so you'll miss out on some of the fun, I ran without one last year, and had more fun once I got one. The base model uniden is plenty.
    There is an air station at RC, and many of us have OBA for an emergency.

    An awning for shade is a good idea, most of the camp sites are in the sun.

    And rain gear, this event always gets rained in.
