    Hello,
A lady backed into me and crunched my tail light assembly. She left a note and wants to replace.
Any good recommendations to get a new one for a 2011 4x4 access cab?
    Thank in advance.

If she is paying, new one from the dealership! I think I still have a Dr side one in the garage... I broke one and bought a new set of, I did not want to have one different than the other

Just had the exact same thing happen to me last month. The tail lights are slightly different depending on if you have LEDs or not - my 15 does. You'd think your local junkyard will almost surely have one, but Mine didn't in stock. I picked up one from Toyota of Dallas online. You can buy the whole piece (including reflector, wiring, bulbs) and it's literally two screws and one connector. Takes 3 minutes tops.

Thanks for all the responses. She had sent me a link from Amazon and its highly rated and looks like mine. Can they differ from place to place?
I do need a drivers side. Yours is from the Dealership? How much would you like for it.

A few OE parts from fancy trucks
If your truck is average, cut her a break for being honest and take an aftermarket unit.

If your truck is pristine, get a new OE unit.

I'm guessing that plate rear bumper did a number on her vehicle. LOL Her bumper and taillight probably conformed to the shape of your bumper until her trunklid broke your taillight. LOL

This. Get a check for a oem replacement, scour the marketplace for a oe replacement or Amazon on a set of aftermarkets and pocket the rest.

Thats not what I meant. I meant Toyota price gauges and pockets crazy costs for OEM parts.

I didn't recommend the OP be a greedy asshole.

It was an accident and I am just looking to get my light replaced. Not looking to make money as I wouldnt want anyone to do that to me.

I am happy she left a note as we all know many don't and I do believe in Karma.

I've been hit 3 times in a parking lot. No one left me a note. Fortunatley the damage has been minimal.

I have an aftermarket tail light that I bought after cracking mine from loading drywall in the bed. It looks identical to the oem light. No color difference, lights are same brightness. Google "Tacoma light ty1090-b000r", that will bring up the light.

Get a matching pair of Depo brand. Still cheaper than one factory light.
