I recently corresponded with a guy on Craigslist selling a 2000 tacoma for 5700k with 130,000 miles. I asked him to send a picture of the frame and this is what he sent:

I thought it was too rusty and decided not to pursue it further. Did I make a mistake?

I think you made the right decision... that thing is pretty crusty. When I was looking for mine, one of my criteria was that it had to have a new frame.

Good decision not to purchase. That's probably not even the worst of it.

Guy only sends you one pic when you ask to see the frame, and the one pic looks that bad...he probably sent you a pic of the best looking part of the frame hoping you'd be none the wiser. You made the right call.

I'd say you made the right choice. That frame is likely close to rotting through in spots.

Also, $5,700,000 is a pretty big asking price for a tacoma  :p

To much money and also most likely time for thinking about the timing belt.

then you don`t say where the truck lives .

For the right price i would buy the truck .
