Ditched Bed Extender, what should I use to cover the holes left behind?

    For now, I still have the hardware. I considered a couple bottle openers but I think it's too low. Other considerations;

    1. D-Rings - not sure how strong this sheet metal is so I could only use it for lighter things.
    2. Bed Stiffener - not sure its wide enough to cover the holes and has a hefty price tag.

    Any other thoughts? Thanks

    I can check my bed stiffeners and see if they cover the holes for you. When i drilled the holes for the extender initially i sprayed them with black rustoleum so there wasnt any bad spots. When i ditched the bed extender they were fine for years.

    Go to ace and get some little rubber plugs.

    These are the @Bentrodder supports. They cover all but one.

    Thanks everyone, forgot to check back. I think my take away from this is to just leave the bed extender brackets in place. The Christmas tree idea is okay but i misdrillled a hole on one side so the plugs would reveal that. Another thought is to put a couple stickers there.
