My back slider window pooped its gasket out on the slider portion years ago. Every time I have my windows up and don't have my AC or heater on recirc, I can hear a whistle. Along with that, I have a fear of it raining and getting my amp wet. Fortunately it doesn't rain here much but it's time to fix it.

My question is, has anyone changed the rear window out on their own? And if so, any experience with any certain brands besides OEM. The dealership wants somewhere around 1K to do it (700 for glass, 300 for labor). I found a brand by the name of CR Laurence for around $250 for the window. The vendor also claims that it's made in America. I'm tempted to give it a shot... any recommendations or tips.

    Thank you!

Put "full glass" on your insurance. One load of split wood, a baseball or a BB may be in your future
