Interesting. that's the first i've seen from an independent seller (not someone doing it here...although there are some that do it really well).

The cost is comparable with what you'll pay for a kit. If you're ok with a little diy (or paying a bit more for one of the forum builders), i think i'd stick with that route. I'd hate to be the guinea pig on this one... I made mine with the h1 kit from retrofit source. it was easy and i'm suuuuuuper happy with the results.

If you're adventurous, then heck, go for it and hope they're still in business through that 3 year warranty they're advertising.

I'd be interested to see how these do as well. I'm planning on retrofitting my headlights this fall with Mini D2's from TRS but may be interested in these if I knew they were decent quality.

Shoot! Check out all of the condensation in the passenger side headlamp :annoyed:

If anyone PM's him, let us know what he has to say about these! But that looks like a bad sign, if they aren't sealed properly...

Those are "ACA" headlights. They made them waaay back in the day, and brand new cost almost a grand. I'm honestly surprised at the price. That being said, they are okay. I had them on my truck for a bit and sold them off, they use a really odd D1S bulb, which has the ignitor attached to the bulb itself, so it's difficult to find replacement bulbs/ballasts for it. I would stick with something that has a common D2S bulb, personally.

Again I'll try to dig up pics tonight. These are pretty rare headlights, but priceless at this point. I got roasted being a new member trying to sell a pair of these for $350, oh how times have changed

I have a set of the headlights from headlight revolution.
I've had them on the truck for 6 months now.
They work, no leaks, no real issues.

Real nice clean cut offs. Low beams are nice but wish my high beams were brighter.

If one were to DIY and build their own, no frills or special stuff just the minimum to get projectors, what would you guess a rough price for the parts would be?

You can do it for around $100, maybe a little more (plus the cost of bulbs). Check out The Retrofit Source for pricing. I'm gonna retrofit mine with the mini D2's from TRS in a few months hopefully :fingerscrossed:

I did my own, not difficult.

I paid $282 for my all-in kit from retrofit source. but i had some add-ons like switchback halos and extra sealant. you could probably cut back $70 or so without the extra stuff.

This would be if you're using your current headlight housings. If you want to do this to new housings, you'll have to add in that cost.

but, my god, the difference is amazing.

Curious, is it possible to separate the DRL signal?
