2005+ cig socket removal

I have a 2005 and the cigarette lighter guts keep pulling out of the middle.does anyone know where on here I can find instructions on how to get access to them under the radio or will I have to remove the whole center console?

It's easy,
Two bolts under the center console
Unscrew shifter
Lift plastic trim. Remove other screws.

 

Or .... take a pair of needle nose pliers ... take a hold of the socket rim and pull/twist ever so slowly ... it will come out with an "L" shaped prong on the end ... I replaced the lighter in both my '06 and '10 with another covered outlet socket ...

 

Why would the cigarette lighter outlet be controlled by two fuses, side by side? And the power outlet doesnt work at all. All fuses are good. Where is the power outlet fuse?

 

If I pull the ACC fuse or the lighter fuse it will kill the lighter.

 

While the power outlet stays dead.
