I live in Orange County, CA and out of every 10 new Taco's I see, about 1 is a long bed. When I bought mine last week they told me it was 1 of 2 available in southern California. Apparently the TRD off road is hard find in LB with black color. I am in love with mine though. A lot more power than my 07 had.

Just the basic Snugtop Rebel, with carpeted roof, dog windows, rear flipping window and yakima rails that fit the Prinsu roof rack. I love it. I wish it was taller on the inside, but then it would go against all the aesthetics i was going for for the outside.

I originally wanted a long bed but just couldn't get over the looks.......the way they did the bed just looks awkward to me :notsure:

Is all of the added length between the cab and rear tires? Would look better if the added length was 50/50 before and after the rear tire

I feel the same about the DCSB. Look like the bed was an after thought. So happy I had a long bed.

Cant even fit a mountain bike in the SB without the tailgate down lol reminds me of the ford explorer sport.

    Long bed FTW!

Not sure why you would want a short bed unless you want to build up more of a hard core rock crawler. Otherwise, over 300 plus miles off road and my long bed trail limo gets me EVERYWHERE I want to go and be. Not to mention I can carry everything I want to carry with me as well

Gen 2 here, but I started with a DCSB and quickly realized my mistake. Not enough usable bed space and too much unused cab space. While I do kind of miss the doors, I don't feel like I lost much space and the extra 1' of bed length with the AC makes a world of difference for me. Obviously YMMV.
DCLB was not even on the radar for me. They just look bizarre and unwieldy on the trails. I figure if I'm gonna buy a truck that long, I may as well buy a full size :notsure:
