paid 300 but sold my trifold for 200. so i paid 100 plus 60 for paint out of pocket. I searched and searched for one. I was looking for 6 months for a good deal. passed up to 500 ones and thought i F#$#ed up by letting those go.

So I finally wired up the lights... ripped out the shotty A.R.E. harness that came with it, installed a switch on the struts that turns the lights on when open. Grabbed power from the OEM cargo switch so I can use that also. Tied the switch into the front DS door so if it opens without the fob it will trigger the alarm. Also has a bypass switch for that. Couldn't do it without some help from my big bro! PS I'm a window tinter so it's dark af haha.20170703_195415.jpg 20170703_195429.jpg 20170703_195448.jpg 20170703_195458.jpg 20170703_195504.jpg

While I have seen some decent spray can jobs, for me... spray cans are for things that I care about the looks of from 5'+ away... and contrast with the colors next to them (ie bumper and truck) if I was going to color match my topper, I'd want it done by a professional, since the lower lip and the back of the cab would meet up, it'd bug the shit out of me if they didn't match, and even more so, if it looked as shitty as my normal spray can jobs lol (heavy in one area, light in others, small runs)

The same shit everyone else has.
I used these to do my colormatched grill. Turned out fine with the right prep work and color sanding. Color is spot on, but I wouldnt wanna shoot somehting large like a cap with it.

A.R.E. overland series cap. I am looking for a cap that is strong enough to put rtt on top. I'm choosing between leer 100rcc or ARE overland series cap. i like the two tone color of your cap.

Nice looking cap! Is the leer legend series the version that comes with less of a warranty on the paint, but also only costs around 1000? Could've sworn I remember reading about this somewhere..
