I think 4 lag bolts would be fine as long as they are centered on the studs. You could use the plastic anchor nuts for the two additional. I think they hold an additional 45Lbs pull or 90Lbs down each.

Is there strength difference....yes. All depends on what grade of stainless and what grade of the zinc plated you are going for. For a ~100lb TV with 4 lag bolts....i wouldnt worry about it to much though. I like stainless for the look better and for four of them its not to costly.

The deck is coming right along nicely. I was lazy today but it's 114 and humid here.

Hell it was only 88 here, but it was fairly humid and no breeze. It got hot toward the end in the midday sun.

Fridge kept freezing, so I put a separate thermostat on it to make sure it stops freezing.

I would not add extra anchors if you are in fact dealing with lath and plaster , drilling into that stuff between studs can open a serious can of worms with cracking , but if you do you should use a toggle anchor or something intended for lath and plaster

Post tension concrete foundation with a moisture barrier/plywood/felt/4" red oak.

How is the plywood fastened to the slab ? With screws or powder actuated nails ?

Do you know if there is a vapour barrier under the slab and is there insulation under it ?

The plywood subfloor in combination with the felt layer between it and the flooring helps prolong the life of the wood floors by aiding in moisture resistance. It also helps reduce noise, keeps the floors warmer, works as a cushioning agent, allows for additional expansion and contraction and it allows for the wood flooring to be stapled down rather than glued.

The plywood is attached with concrete screws.

There is a moisture barrier between the plywood and concrete slab.
