I have an instant pot and that thing is amazing. Anytime I can make frozen meat into tender fully cooked meals in like 30 minutes I'm down. Also can be used to make rice and stuff so it's easily the best kitchen appliance i've ever bought other than my stand mixer.

Never afraid to make fun of myself - this just happened at work.

So we have these automatic water bottle filling machines (filtered & all) and I was filling mine up for the 2nd time today. I notice a very nice set of legs in a sundress down the aisle about 50 ft. I must have been gawking for too long as my bottle overflowed and the drain couldn't keep up and water overflowed onto the carpet. Fortunately there were no witnesses!

I like the filtered water jugs that come with the cone cups that you cant put down on the table. Great way to annoy a coworker is keep offering them water they have to drink.

It already is! Well, for our group of friends at least. We built my car, both our 4runners and several of our friends vehicles out of our garage as it is. We need a lift and more space though so that's why i'm wanting to build the shop. Also so I can completely clean out and repaint/finish the garage so that there will be nothing but the cars in there when it's done.

 

If y'all get a lift then it's fucking on.

 

Yep. We had already considered a portable lift in our current garage but even if we took the current ceiling out to open up the "attic" area above it the door height is too low for any lifted vehicles. I don't have a mortgage since the house is paid off so i'm considering getting a home equity loan to cover the cost of the shop and the garage remodel but I need to find a company first to get an estimate so I have all the info with me before asking for the loan.
