We are getting a 2 million sq. ft. Wal Mart Distribution Center about 3 miles from the Amazon Center.

Going to add about 600 semi trucks per 24 hour period to I-10 traffic in this area. About 100-150 of those will be going to and from the container terminal at the Port of Mobile moving containers of merchandise from China, Tiawan, Singapore, Mexico, and who knows where else to the Wal Mart distribution center here.

The weekend was about building out a couple of bed platforms. Converting large pieces of wood into smaller pieces of wood. Some assembly required. Next weekend is installing hardware and maybe getting the carpet attached. Maybe.

The base is completed with corresponding drawers. Note that the the long platform is on a short bed (hey, gotta see how long is long). Lot's of measurements if others would like to build the same sort of system.

Did the clean window mod, interior version.

I'm married to a smoker. Paper towels were saturated with tar/nicotine/benzene/etc.

Also figured out my window tint isn't as dark as I remembered it to be....

    A thing or two...
Very nice. I need to come up with something to mount mine to the bed rails. It's going to be a bit odd though because it has to standoff the rail far enough to clear my shell.

so I recently got my truck professionally buffed and polished. very happy with the results. also got the to replace my chrome emblems with matte black ones. only put TACOMA logo back on the tail gate. now my oxidized rims and rusting back bumper stick out like a sore thumb haha the trucks dirty in the last picture cuz all the rain we are getting but I'm loving the black logos

Changed my rear diff fluid, just purchased the truck at 76k kms so figured it wasn't a bad idea. Also, the tires that came on it were practically bald so I bought a cheap pair for now. Went from 265 65 17 to 265 70 17. Love the look.

they most definitely did haha they worked on it for 14 hours straight haha there's still a few things here and there but considering what shape the previous owner let the paint get too and the fact its an 8 year old truck, they did a fantastic job and I really glad I got it done haha fell in love with the truck all over again haha now to decided what I going to do with my rims and rear bumper lol

Show her the paper towels, if its damaging your indestructible tacoma, then whats it doing to her lungs? Plus out here in CA a pack is like 8-9 bucks nowadays. Id much rather spend that money on my truck and other toys :bikewheelie:

Picked up some 3rd gen off-road rims/tires for 500. Were used for 8000 mines but should clean up to look new. I think they came with the TPMS sensors (it's a metal screw)

I would, but, even with air conditioning, the garage isn't that comfortable of a sleeping room.

All mounted up. Gonna get better pics with my camera later, but for now iphone works

Special thanks to Vin, made the buying process so easy and answered all my questions. 10/10 would buy again, amazing quality, look great, and balance perfect. Thank you Vin!! Proud to have these on the truck, that -25 offset is very aggressive
