    Hi everyone
i have oem fog light harness in my 2009 truck.
I would like to use an aftermarket fog light switch. I have the pigtal for switch behind blank switch plate in dashboard.

Can anybody tell me which wires from the pigtail I would need to use for a simple on off toggle?

    Thanks
    Donald

Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
I am not sure what you have here.

Correct me if I am wrong.

You have no factory installed fogs on the truck?
    and
You bought a harness for the fogs?
    or
You found the existing harness in the truck (dash)?

From factory I had no fog lights but I do have factory harness in place.
I bought a set of lights that fit perfectly. Everything is hooked up fine. I'm missing the switch and relay.
I will buy relay from Toyota but want to tap into the factory harness to avoid buying the $63 factory switch.

    Thanks!

    Ok, gotta ya now.

This is from the 06 FSM. I am not sure if your wire colors will differ from it but it should be the same set-up as your 09. If you need it further explanation just holler.
