Where should I go next? Vermont has been nice. But it's time to explore

I was thinking of heading to eagle lake to go check out some old abandoned locamotives. Maine might be fun

Saco is nice, but nothing worth making a trip for.

Few option in Maine, Rangley, Moosehead Lake (Lilly bay) and Arrostock State park in Presque isle. Mount Desert Island (Bar Harbor/ Acadia National Park), or even Baxter (may be hard to get camping at the park).

Sadly don't have my passport. Puppers is with me and I don't have her paperwork with me either. Just her collar. Didn't plan on going to Canada... sadly... wanted to drive up to cape Breton. @DrFunker Just hanging here in the good ol US of A for now.

I think I'm going to see the locomotives at eagle lake. Thanks for those directions @Sig45!

My dog is quite the guard dog. Never really realized until now because I've never had her camping this in the mountains. At least by how far you can get by driving. She is on high alert non stop. Pretty cool. Feel very safe.

On your way back stop into Eustis and Stratton, Maine. Check out Eustis Ridge and Flagstaff Lake, hit some logging roads, head south on 27 to Mt. Sugarloaf, then you can head to Rangeley Maine

South rim or south... something road. Haven't been paying attention... but damn it's been fun. About 20is miles of unpaved logging roads. More turnoffs I could keep track of. All looked fun. Aimlessly wandering has been dope. In rangeley now. Oh and the first gas station I stopped at after all the dirt was ethanol free.

So you did take my idea! Glad you like it up there. I love going to my cabin up there. Can if you wander into Eustis stop at Pines Market. Great country store and they have some brews from Maine. Cam shoot me a text if you need anything. My place is about 30 mins from Rangeley

I will bud! Never really seen this side of Maine. It's awesome! I do need to stock up on supplies so I think I'll head that way.
