I recently tried to order the 3rd gen tacoma grill insert for my taco from RAD industries. I used the below link.
    http://radpartsstore.com/rad-industries-2016-17-tacoma-grille/
My bank contacted me stating this my be fraud. I was curious if anyone has ordered this awesome looking grill from them using this link. Have you had issues? Is this not the right way to order this grill insert? Any info you might have would be great.

Check with your bank. Maybe it's red flagging because the POS is in another state.

Your bank sounds like mine. If I order something for the first time on- line, out of state they flag it. This happened the first time I tried to get Ray10s. After they denied it they called and asked if it was really me trying to buy something. They told that I should have no problem next time I order from SCS. They were correct. I got my Ray10s and today they get mounted.

I am in Japan and I have used my card all over Asia and ordered items from many different states. (I did not try to order the grill to Japan) My bank is aware of my spending and they understand that I am out of country. My bank stated that the charges did not stated rad industries in California. They stated that the charge looked like other similar fraud charges they have seen before.

Banks do trend analysis and pattern matching. Your transactions will get flagged if they deviate from your known trend or follow a pattern similar to fraudulent patterns.

You want to get a card locked? Drive somewhere you've never been before (hours away without using your card along the way). Make a small $1 purchase at a gas station, then drive to Walmart and spend $400. Boom, card locked (unless you do this sort of thing all the time)

It follows a pattern of card thieves. Small transaction to prove it works, then big transaction at a big box store.

Maybe an online transaction, from Asia, through a small website set off an alarm. Sounds reasonable to be honest.

Similar fraud charges, that happened to me 3 years ago. It was a a 1 dollar charge. They gave me a new card.

Nice thread title...nothing like painting a poor picture of a vendor right off the bat.

I think it's a bank issue. Mine denied my transaction and tried to call me once when I bought one too many hand towels from Target (serious)

Definitely deserving a title change. Dan and Renée, the owners of RAD, take their clients happiness seriously. Very far from fraudulent.

I have to hand it to the banks/CC companies though, their algorithms are really good and spotting potentially fraudulent charges

    Nothing worthy
Dont understand credit card companies idea of whats a fraudulent purchase or not.
Very recently my mother was scammed on her credit card for $4000.00 worth of some stupid gaming card you buy at a store for gift card reasons. Visa never flagged it and she even has fraud insurance. One month prior to this and Visa canceled her card cause she bought a $10.00 item online...... WTF!!!

You should change the title OP. Maybe make it something more accurate:

"Credit cards safety measures...how do they work?"
    Or
"I'm mad because my bank was trying to keep me safe"

The guys over at RAD industries are great. They got it all sorted.
    Thanks for the useful everyone.
    Not changing the title.
    Notice the question mark.
    Get over it.

RAD Industries is pretty legit company. Off subject. One of their workers, or maybe part owner, RadDan is actually a pro Formula Drift driver. One of my favorite drivers out there.
