Hi guys. I'm Ben, new 2017 tacoma for the last 4 months. Canadian living in Long island, NY. Traded in my impreza for this truck and never looked back. I was looking at softops vs bestops and also looking for information about going up in size for rims and tires... not sure how to go about it... i know that if i go bigger i'll have to adjust speedometer right ? I'd like to find a good rim/tire combo that's a little bigger than my original 16" rims and 265/75/16 tires.

Anyway, just signed up so i'll go look at past forums see if theres something in there about those things. Thanks for reading

    Ben.

Welcome! You should find your answer pretty easily, but I believe the biggest you can go on a stock 3rd gen is 265/75/16 or 265/70/17, but I've heard of people running 255/85/16 as well but that would be pushing it I think. Read up, there is an insane amount of info on here!
