Changed all drain plugs to Dimple Magnetic plugs UNI filter on air pump
I have the Dimple magnetic drain plugs(2013 4x4 Access cab 4 Lt) see link below and watch the video on their site. These drain plugs are extremely strong and are excellent quality, I have then in the Front and rear diff. I took the original rear magnetic drain plug and moved it to the transfer case, good products and if you order them they incluide a thread gauge for free.

I used them many, many, years ago and they worked okay. A couple of years ago I got my hands on a bunch of 75lb neodymium magnets and I stick them on the pan somewhere out of the way. When I remember while draining the oil I scoot them down to the hole with a pair of pliers to collect the metallic trub. Messy process but it seems to be very effective. I should look into those Dimple plugs. But I doubt there is any way they will contain enough rare earth material to have 75lbs of pull force. Or maybe I should pick up a bunch of 120 lb rare earth magnets and really go big. But the damn 75s are already hard enough to work with. Don't even try to place one on metal using just your fingers. :)
