MTB, tailgate pad, and folding tonneau cover?

Hi all,

Any suggestions? I was close to ordering a bakflip mx4 but luckily rode in my buddies tundra platinum and with bikes he's gotta remove the tonneau entirely to fit the bikes or flip up and cover the window... Sucks.

Any suggestions? I've got a TRD pro, so short bed... Please lmk as we have kids and I hate having to throw crap in the back with no cover.

Ps I know one could use the tailgate extender but that kinda sucks too.

 

I use the tri-fold Tonno-pro and love it. https://www.tonnopro.com/cms/tonnofold . Stays pretty darn dry even through a car wash.

 

I use a DAKINE tailgate pad for transporting my MTB and can't close the cover with it installed, if you still want a cover of some kind but don't want it to interfere with the rear visibility, then a rollup tonneau cover would be my recommendation, either soft or aluminum backed hard cover
