Are you traveling up 95 or 17?

I just looked at those two tires. The ones I have are gonna be in between those two choices. Mine are lt rated but are 6 ply.

Most likely 17, however if 95 leads to better camping opportunities and scenic spots then I am game for either. Don't really have anything set in stone, just going to follow my front wheels.

I live just north of Savannah. If you're traveling up the 95 for a scenic drive, you'll be highly disappointed as it's the fastest way but the most shitty. 17 will be much nicer but also much slower.

Unsure of your endpoint but if you're coming from SAV, the waypoints I'd use for stops would be Beaufort for the history, Edisto for the lack of tourists, Charleston because...Charleston, North or South of Dirty Myrtle because...NO, up the coast of NC for the beaches to OBX.

Lots of campgrounds along the coastal route. You should definitely try to camp in the state parks (Hunting Island, Edisto Beach, James Island, Huntington Beach, etc.) if you can but they usually fill quickly.

I was talking to a guy in another thread about camping on some island at the OBX, but I can't remember what the name was. He said you get dropped off by a ferry and basically have free roam of the island to wheel and camp.

I came home a diff way this morning. 385 into dtown, then took a left on main and came down 3 blocks and I spotted him.
He's knows my challenger because he cut me off a couple months ago and nearly put me in a ditch.
I've also tailed him in my truck...however.... I don't think he has made the connection.

Edit: It was totally not his fault that he cut in front of me. The car in front of him stopped all of a sudden and it was either rear end that dude or squeeze into my spot on the right.

    Sooooo.............

Thanks! Time and speed isn't an issue. This helps out a lot. The state park camping, is it permit camping or pay at the site or are there free sites?

    This would be cool.

In SC, you'll have to pay to access the park as well as pay to camp. A Palmetto Pass may be the way to go so you can access all the parks and just pay at each to camp. Unsure about NC.

The last time I went was my 7th grade school trip, so that doesn't count.
I can't get my RTT fast enough :annoyed:
