How does your military experience have ANYTHING to do with how you're handling a simple warranty claim about a leaking brake light? You're being hypersensitive and completely unreasonable about their offer to shampoo and fix the light. What more do you want?

Bro, he served. Lay off. He earned his respect.

This self important, entitled mentality is pretty pathetic. I can't even imagine what he was like to the dealership or corporate at this point.

Also, op, if you are keeping track. I started out defending you. I'm also not know around these parts for being a Tacoma fanboy. Ask c4lvinn .

    You sound like a wiener.

    OP, thank you for serving.....

Toyota still doesn't care and won't treat active service or vets any better for warranty issues, other than giving you the initial purchase discount. We're all numbers in a waiting game once you take delivery for any issues.

    The issues will come... Sorry.

No carfax will show. Its not a wreck or inspection, its a warranty repair.

Not all dealerships are reasonable. Neither are all consumers.

The affected areas should be disassembled, properly cleaned and dried. Technically simple, but labor intensive.

Completed correctly, it should be completely as if it never happened. If not, it should be redone till it is undetectible.

Too many people suffer from entitlement mania and litigation fever.

It's called standards! If you talk the talk then be prepared to walk it. And yes, this is the 2nd dealership I've had a bad experience with. Which is why I took it to the 2nd dealership to deal with this problem.

Thank you Bill. You always sound like the wise old neighbor that puts things into perspective for the young nonsensical bucks.

You are just a guy who's pissed off because something is not meeting your expectations. You came here expecting to find other like minded individuals to commiserate your ideals. Unfortunately, with this issue, pretty much everyone here feels that fixing the leak and cleaning up the mess is a good first step. Next.

Thank you Clearwater Bill. I agree it should be. I guess assuming they would do that the first time was too much. Instead this will be the 3rd trip and a maybe we will, maybe we won't. Friggin Fuego seems to understand, thanks!

We have a multitude of cheese choices to pair with your whine.

You might enjoy Sierra Cheddar, Colorado High, Ram (an aromatic goat cheese) or our 'secret formula', F150.
