I always make the effort to park next to em too haha.

Coming from the Jeep community, its sad to not have the typical wave. Seems like once someone owns a Wrangler they just know... not necessarily the case for Tacos!

    Like, so many.
That's true, but it's also interesting to me because where I live, most of the Jeeps are driven by teenagers and soccer moms.

I have noticed the same especially with the jeeps. I think because they are somewhat knowledgeable with wheeling products that they want to know what my truck has. As far as the taco guys, they normally are just staring the whole time for good or bad reasons.

I normally get blank stares, or the confused wave that they think they know me but then realize they don't.

Man, I must really look like either a stalker or a way to friendly guy looking for a date (which is ok too) because I look hard at every Taco and double look sometimes and wave and smile and say howdy when our windows are down. :boink:

Maybe I am just lonely......... :pout:

It feels awkward enough just driving next to another 3rd gen on the freeway.

I feel like the wave is too strong, so I'll give a head nod most times. Maybe even a thumbs up if I'm fairly certain he/she is a member on here.

People don't seem to ever wave back, at least not here in my neck of the woods.

I merged next to a lifted second gen yesterday and checked it out and noticed the guy in it checking out my truck. He gave the nod and I gave the steering wheel wave. I immediately thought of this thread! Good times.

I would have to drive with one hand and dedicate the other to waving where I live. There's a tacoma every two feet.
