    Greetings all,
Somehow my father in law managed to get my seat belt twisted (twice). I've been unsuccessful at returning it to the top so I wondered....can I take the bolt off at the bottom or will that be a can of worms I don't want to open??

You can unbolt it I believe, just make sure to hold it in place while you spin the belt back into place. And make sure to tighten and check after maybe a couple weeks, you wouldn't want that bolt backing out on you.

I've unbolted the bottom bolt quite a few times when removing that trim panel. It's no big deal, and you don't need to hold it in place. I just let mine hang there while I did my work.

Same. Just unbolt it and twist it back to where you need it and bolt it back in.
