2006 Tacoma single cab base. Behind the plug where the rr diff goes on tacomas mine is prewired, not prewired for fog lights bough which is what I'm installing. What is this? Factory prewired rear diff lock? Can I install the switch and have the function?

To the right of the fog light button in the dash, I popped out that blank plug and it was plugged into the blank.

Just keep throwin' money at it.
The wiring might be there, but the locker would not be. The addition of a factory e-locker into a non-locked model would require some modification since the diffs are a different size between the e-locker and non-locker axles. So it would be more challenging than just adding in an e-locker diff as well.

Okay thanks. Wasn't sure why there would be wires to that and not the fog lights.
