Frozen chicken breasts and a few cans of condensed soup like cream of chicken on low all day. Make some rice after work and pour the chicken mixture over it. You can also add some other veggies.

I have a good recipe for that. it's pretty easy, but i'll have to find it on my phone if you want specifics.

otherwise, it's half an onion (cut up), garlic powder, salt, pepper, on high for 4hrs or low for 8hrs. then place on a tray and brush/lather heavily with BBQ sauce. stick in the oven at 400* or for about 10ish mins

It was more of a joke from the smoking thread where someone said something about crockpot ribs someone made that "were better than smoked/bbqd ribs"

Oh, for sure. The Rub-a-Dub works quite well in the crock pot.

My mom has had to cook pulled pork for various occasions and she always does it in the crock pot. I keep a jar of Rub-a-Dub in her pantry and the food is always a hit.

Beef Cheek(?) - I go to a Mexican butcher shop and ask for 'Cachete' - Which is pretty much the check portion of the face.

I season it with LOTS of pepper, some salt, some garlic rub, and crushed basil leaves.

Then wrap it in two layers of foil - dump in crock pot and add water.

Drop it in right before I go to bed - say 10 PM?

Around 2AM or 3AM I get up and check the water level, add water as needed.

I then get up at 5 AM again and check the meat and see if it is cooked and go from there.

At this point, I drain any excess fat from the packaging so its not so greasy during serving time.

    ****

My mom taught me how to make it, but she would NOT season it, she would only salt it.

I came up with this "recipe" by trial and error and discovered that I really liked the "Peppery" taste of it. My parents don't like it, so my best advice is to try it with salt only.

    Then play with your seasonings.

    Also,

Play and experiment with the fat. Some like theirs "moist", others like it dry and seasony, per se.

I usually trim about 3/4 of the fat.

I love breakfast barbacoa tacos! I've never tried to make it though...could be dangerous to learn how. I'd probably be eating it all the time.
