Hello! I have a '15 Tacoma sport. I'm doing the 30K maintenance myself. I discovered this website while researching replacing the plugs for any tips or tricks that may help me. So, I decided to join and be a part of the team. The Mods & Tutorials section has already been a tremendous help.
I haven't done any engine work since my old Chevy 350 big block, where you could take off the wires and the spark plugs practically jumped out of the block at you, and you could practically sit inside of the engine compartment and access just about anything.
Any advise on the Tacoma would be welcomed!

Welcome! Nice call doing the 30k yourself. When I did mine, I had to remove the airpump so I could get the air intake plastic thingy off. When putting the bolts back in, I had to use put some silly putty on my sockets so the bolts would stick into them when I was putting everything back together.

The job was a breeze. The 4.0 is like the easiest motor to work on I have ever seen. It's fun to change oil on it yourself!

Thank you DesertTaco. I have a few things in mind that I'd like to run with. I started out with a small lift and grille guard. Gonna upsize my tires to a BF Goodrich all terrain, I think. My truck is used mostly in beach sand & dunes. I still have some exploring to do.
