Ugh! 5 hours + for me then.

At least I can rally up with you folks on the way there. My route is 64 west to Grayson, AA/rt 9 north to Cincy, 74 west to Indy, then whatever to Badlands from there.

Drove to Indy a lot when I was still travelling, spent a good year there.

Northwest of Indy. Not the same ol same ol.....got sand dunes!

Lot of northern Illinois, northern Indiana TW regulars there.

My last 2 trips were RRG/Slade. Just want something different every now and then.

You know.....like when you use your LEFT hand...

You're supposed to be setting up the Rush thingy.

My birthday is August 4th. Hence, the August 5th deal. I could be persauded to change locations, but would still like someplace different. (Redbird....Interlake...etc)

Since when did anyone start listening to me?

I managed to clear the 5th (Aug) but after Labor Day, things open up for my schedule.

Looking at a November trip to one of several Tennessee parks. More on that later. (Will involve towing camper)

Would also like to do the June 25th RRG route, only reverse of what we did then.

And....when we are at Black Mountain, look at it in terms of a winter run. (ie Dec/Jan/Febl) sans snow or super cold weather)

Got the pelfry fuse panel installed. Also wired up the ditch lights. Need to wire it all up to the battery. Don't have any thing that thick. Gonna have to get some. Also need to run the switch wire inside and install new switch

I'm seeing a big difference between my truck and yours. The v6 has a separate resi for brake/clutch, my 4cyl shares a resi

DYF express was by today. Also got a aisin clutch with 50 miles on it delivered today. Figure if a broast my clutch and don't have funds for one I have a solid back up.

Way back when I was into the manual tranny thing, I always found the real secret to making a clutch work was with a really good pressure plate. What I know about the current state of Toyota clutches, you could write on the head of a pin. But, if I was you, I'd start doing a little research on aftermarket pressure plates. Back then, I was running ceramic clutch disk's. The more you slipped them, the hotter they would get. The hotter they got, the more they would hook up. It's been 30 years since those days. Not sure what is "state of the art" today.

Mostly just thinking out loud here....

Appreciate the feedback. I have found 4lo is a HUGE help when it comes to wheeling with a clutch.

On another note, where at in the frame did you ground your antenna? Mounting a fire stick in the same spot.
