nice man! I like those more then the sport rims ive got on mine. not too sporty if you ask me haha I'm getting them powder coated next week. hopefully improve the looks a little bit. plus mine are oxidized pretty badly too and leak air. hoping the powder coating will help with that :fingerscrossed:

when I got my truck buffed and polished buddy used some kind of stuff on my plastic made by chemical guys, the next day it rained a bit and the stuff ran all down my paint, I wasn't too impressed haha

Thanks! Lol! Detailing the truck in my spare time keeps me out of the Beach bars that are on 100ft centers here! It keeps me out of trouble! Because of that I'm a little compulsive keeping her clean! Up close it it isn't perfect, but I want to keep it nice and stay ahead of the maintenance schedule. I plan on it lasting a long time. Thanks guys for the Kind Words. :hattip:

thats interesting, ive had this on for a while through mud, washes, rain here and it still hasnt run. Maybe he applied to much, it doesnt take much for it. I use it on the fenders of my truck and the top of my vert to keep it black and also some metal bits like my front bumper.

chemical guys surprisingly have alot of black restorers - vrp is another that i have not tried https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00FJIT9BO/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I like the 17" sport wheels. I seen a set of them powder coated with BFG's with the letters out On a silver sport yesterday, and it looked great! You'll like it!

you are probably right, I had always heard good things about chemical guys so I was pretty surprised myself, might snag a bottle a test it out myself haha he also recommended putting silicone spray on rubber around windows and such to protect it. any concerns abut doing that? how long would it last? he also recommended spraying the silicone spray into the little holes in the door weather stripping to help re-inflate it to minimize howling noises

i dont see any harm with silicon spray, ive applied the shine when a buddy showed me two months back and havent needed to reapply since. I ordered the VRP on prime day to give it a shot. Thats interesting about the stripping....i dont have the howling but hmm maybe it will stop dust from coming in on trips

I can't find the picture, but a member placed his up in the right hand corner of the right rear window. It acutely followed the turn along the top right edge. It looked good. Another one placed it vertically on the outside edge of the passenger side front windshield.

What do you take your pictures with? Phone? Camera?

Might just lend you my truck and just let you take the mall crawler and get some action shots for me!
