    Howdy Y'All!

    I just bought a new 2017 MGM Tacoma Dblcab 4x4 TRD OR about a month ago, and thought I'd pick up some pointers on the web. No doubt you *already* saved my tail with the tip about securing the tailgate, since tailgate thefts are pretty high in the DFW area! Looking forward to learning more about my new Tacoma! The last Toyota truck I had was a 1983 model, so I've been out of the loop for quite a while. Loved that truck, and drove it for 15 years before trading it off, and hope to get that or more out of my new Tacoma! >smile<

    Wow! Thanks for the warm welcome folks! It's nice to know that a lot of Texas hospitality hasn't vanished yet either! I've been reading the Tips & Tricks thread and learning all SORTS of neat stuff (Yes, all 112 pages of it! Lol! Though only about half way through it all yet.) Not a native Texan, but I got here as quick as I could! <grin> The Air Force kept throwing me back here, so I figured they were trying to tell me something. >;-) No state taxes after I retired was a good incentive!

    I tried to upload some pics of my ride, but I need to figure out how to resize them since the server rejected them for being too big. <sigh> I'll try to get some up soon. Hey! It looks like it might be fixed! This is shortly after I drove it home! <grin> I'll have some better ones later when I've got it broken in and can go play in the mud. There is an off-road park NW of me a few miles at Bridgeport that has 300 acres of trails.
