Hello, I'm new to this forum. I'm having some serious problems with my 2015 tacoma. About 3 weeks ago the traction control started kicking in randomly, straight highways, straight freeways. It kicked in doing 80 mph on a freeway so i turned the trac off. Last week I noticed the vsc light came on and now I'm stuck with the trac off light on, the vsc light on, the abs light on and the rear diff lock light on. My abs is definitely not working and I think my four wheel drive is not engaging now. I plugged in an obd2 scanner and it says that no faults are stored on the computer. Please can anyone give me a clue of where to begin troubleshooting. This is my 5th toyota pickup and I've never had anything like this happen.

No man, put 70,000 on it already and can't get it to a dealership at the moment. I'm a heavy equipment mechanic, but not too savvy with traction control.

Checked fuses but not relays, disconnected battery and tried to recycle.

Had an 09 tacoma pretty much the same truck for 6 years, never ran into anything like this and i did change a wheel bearing. Didn't mess with wheel speed sensors on that one.

The abs/vsc related codes can be pulled with a more advanced obd2 scanner.

@UtahUnderground ,something like Toyota TIS Techstream which you can get a cable and software for from Amazon. Setup/installation is a little complicated, so if you have a computer buddy that would be helpful.
I'd be willing to bet your rear abs lines got snagged, they hang kinda low on the rear axle. The outside shield is nearly indestructible but it stretches and can tear the wires inside.

This sounds all too familiar :).

@UtahUnderground - I can offer guidance on setting up techstream on a laptop if you choose to go that route to scan the ABS module. Based on what codes it shows I might be able to help you further. Send me a PM or I'll watch your thread and offer help where I can.
