Picked up a T4r with a 1st gen supercharger on it and I'm going through and reading up on the maintenance for it.
I'm confident that I can do it with my cousin (ASE certified tech, auto tech for 10+ years) supervising and google.
the SC has 204K miles on it and no service history, at idle and under 3K rpm it sounds normal to me, haven't taken it above 3K because the water pump is leaking.
I noticed what appears to be an oil seep on the aluminum section that runs into the back of the SC (near where the rubber line is running in this photo) it there a seal that is replaceable while it's apart for the rebuild or is that something that I would clean up and then seal with RTV?
