Carnitas is far and away the best recipe I have for the crockpot, and is made about once a month, for 2 weeks worth of meat.

    Pork butt/shoulder/picnic roast
    Small jar salsa verde
Sauce from the mid-size jar of chipotles in adobo, or some of the chilies if you want it spicy
    Whole onion
Little bit of OJ if you have it
Garlic powder/real garlic and pepper to taste

Heat on low for 8-10 hours, pull out meat and put in a bowl to shred. I usually pull the liquid out and put it in the fridge separately for an hour or so to be able to skim the extra fat off the top when it firms up.
I find the meat fits great in like 2-3 gladware rectangles, with juice, and freezes very well for use later. Each one provides enough for about 4 servings (2 nights for the wife and I).

The important part....put it in a loaf pan with the juice and put under the broiler on high for a bit until it crisps, pull it out and turn/mix it some, repeat until all is a touch crispy

Make bomb tacos and enjoy with fixins of your choice.

    my two favorite recipes:

    Pot roast:
1 roast, of your choice. I prefer chuck. Size of your choice too, I usually go for at least 3 pounds
1 or 2 packs of McCormick "Savory Pot Roast"
2 cans coke (or your choice, I've done it with Dr. Pepper and Root Beer before too)
    Some potatoes

-Throw in the roast and potatoes (chopped up if you wish, or throw the little reds/yellows in whole)
-mix the savory pot roast packs with 1 cup of water per pack. I prefer to use two of these and less of the coke, but kinda either way works
-pour in the pot roast seasoning. Top off everything with the coke

4 hours on high or 8 on low. Its comes out MUCH more tender on low. TADAAA friggin easy, amazing pot roast. Usually have leftovers for days.

    Salsa Chicken:

    super easy!
-3 or 4 chicken breasts, rub with taco seasoning. Put in crockpot
-cover it completely with salsa of your choice

3 hrs high, or 6 on low. Shred with fork.

I love this one, usually make it for work meals.

does turning tires to black wall out count? How bout added snug top rebel.
I've got some go to crock recipes!

Easiest recipe ever is shredded BBQ chicken.
3 breasts or whatever boneless chicken meat you choose
Half jar of orange marmalade jam
Half small bottle of baby rays BBQ sauce
    Couple table spoons Worcestershire sauce.
Mix up jam and sauces, throw in crockpot for 6 hours on low, remove chicken and shred, replace shredded chicken in crock pot. Serve.
Save individual servings in freezer for easy sandwiches later.

Man your giving away the secret to the best gun club pot roast!

Coke for beef, or Dr. Pepper if you want a more caramel flavor. The soda does magic to the meat.

For turkey and chicken 7up or any caffeine free citrus soda does the same in the crock pot.
