Cheap TRD centre caps $16 for all four.

I was going to post pics of this cheap easy to do mod- but Photo Bucket sucks.

There was a post on here for TRD centre caps that were $16 each (x4= $64!), not wanting to spend that much I searched for just the resin centre cap sticker- $16 for all 4. Had to wait a month as they were shipped from Taiwan!

There are 3 spots on the inside of the centre cap where the legs of the chrome toyota symbol are melted to hold them in place. I just used a woodworking chisel to cut the melted pieces off and was then able to gently pry the 'T' symbol off.

Gave it a quick clean and dried it and then centred the TRD resin sticker and stuck it on.

Takes very little time and I think it improves the look by getting rid of the girly looking 'T'!

 

Interesting, but what center caps are these for? Which rim design?

 

Stole someones pic from the classifieds. Will work on any centre cap with a flat surface that is 5.2cm diameter- or bigger. There is about a 1/4" around the TRD resin sticker on mine.

Photo bucket went from free to $400/year. As a result I have not moved to another hosting company yet so I can't post pics.

I am very happy with the look especially since it was so cheap.

I actually use this site to host my Taco photos. Under profile there is an album feature. I upload photos directly from my phone, to my album. Then I can select them when I write a post.
