UPDATE: I FOUND WHERE THE SHIMS GO, against the upper control arm pivot shaft and the frame.

I found the one the dealership put in on the bolt on the driver side, closest to the firewall, took it out, I can hold the steering wheel straight without the truck pulling right, it seems to drift a bit but it could be due to roadcrown.

Another update: steering wheel shakes when I hit the highway around 65-70 mph, not sure why, but the truck still drifts significantly on the highway.

This can't be a normal thing.

I am also experiencing that same pull to the right. I looked at my alignment printout and my numbers are very close to what you have. I had my 95 Tacoma aligned at this same place and I could let go of the wheel for over a quarter mile before I started to drift to the right because of the crown of the road. I feel like I am white knuckling this truck. I let go of the wheel and immediately it starts veering off to the right.

I also have a shutter when hitting 50- 60 mph and have vibration while deceleration. Let me know what you have found out about that.

Can you take a picture of the cam bolts? I find it hard to believe they are not adjustable.

Are they telling you they are not adjustable because they are froze? Pretty common for Toyota Tacoma's. I know, I've had to cut out several over the years because the alignment was not achievable because the bolts were froze.

The description of pulling to one way or the other is a symptom of frozen cam bolt(s).

Did you check the Upper control arm bushings, Lower control arm bushings, steering rack bushings?

Koditten: they're telling me the cam bolts aren't adjustable because they simply do not exist on the 2wd base model, unlike the 4wd models, or even prerunners, I know that for a fact

Reminds me of a story told by my hs shop teacher/mechanic. Guy comes in for an alignment, car is aligned and sent out. Guy comes back says the car pulls right. Realigned and out the door. Guy comes back, car pulls right. This goes on a couple more times car specs are always good, keeps coming back with the same complaint. So mechanic does a road test, car tracks fine. But he notices the passenger seat is really squished.

So he sets the suspension to pull left. Guy comes back says the problem was fixed. The car pulled left on the way home but was now tracking fine.

So here's your mystery. For $100 iin imaginary money, what was the issue?

I had a friend that was so big that he always had his cars aligned with him sitting in the drivers seat.

Sorry to bring this back up, but this ^ so much. You can have a spot on alignment, but if your tires are worn badly from driving with a bad alignment for so long, it's never going to drive straight. I just needed to say it again but it's not been mentioned much in this thread.

I would hope a competent tech would notice bad tires.

Who would stand behind work knowing that there is a good chance the customer would be back for warranty work?

I'm sure it has happened, though.
