Damn right! I think it is less than one oem! Just hope the dtrl lens won't melt like some oem does... a chance to take!

I don't think it will, I'm running an oem style depo on my drivers side, the only thing is I have a little bit on moisture in there and it started to fade a bit in the top right corner. the PO put it on there and never sealed them up. oh well, I'm sure one day I will be putting on some retrofits anyways so I'm not too worried at the moment

Here is the part number for the seal that goes on the axle, DEALERSHIP ONLY!
Behind the hub. Not the one that "clips" behind the hub but the one on the axle.

And here is the part number for the axle seal that sits in the diff, on passenger side

It is crazy how the list grows! I am trying to keep the mods "functionnal" because if not there is no end haha

It takes a good self control lol! But what's turning me off the most is the damn canadian dollar... I just can't justify paying something that much overprice just because our money worth nothing... so I am talking to myself and wait... but sometime the mod bug gets me and I click "buy" hahaha

true story man, me too, me too. I would have my lift already but nope, I actually have to save almost twice as much cuz the damn dollar lol I could go less expensive, but once my mind is made up, its hard to settle for less hahah you get the axle seal yet?

Get what you want when you are ready so you only buy once! I still do want to dump my spacer lift but don't know yet which setup to get so I can save for it lol...

Now the seal... that damn seal... I picked it up today and will do it tomorrow. Called the dealership this weak, the lady on the phone tells me they have it in stock and it is 22$. I stopped by, the guy tells me they have to order and it is 32$...wtf:notsure: He says she might have seen the seal at the other end of the cv axle... but I thought... no... I just bought it... they had to order... and it was 50$... not 22... wtf is going on with seals?? and their prices! little pieces of rubber man! what!

Just saw this post... I have to be more into my own thread lol! are your tails darker than oem LED?

exactly! buy once! haha dooo it bro! just do the bilstein set up everyone else is running, its relatively cost effective. I think it was about 2k Canadian to get it up here or something along those lines. I priced it all out at one point, I even found Canadian dealers too but by the time you bought all the parts individually and what not it was cheaper to get it from headstrong, at least they can ship it to you as a full coil over and u don't have to get it put together hahaha I mean 2k is still steep when ur living on a budget haha

that is one expensive seal! the damn thing better not leak hahaha and u better not damage it buddy

you asking about my new tail lights or my old ones?

It climbs up pretty quick when we are talking lift... I would like to get a quote from Core Outfitters for a full OME. I think it would be a good choice because as you stated if I get all my parts seperately I'll probably pay too much lol

If I damage this seal I think I'll consider having a mechanic doing it... that will hurt my pride but sometime you have to realize you need help haha

For the tails I am asking for the old ones lol

OME would be a great set up as well!
I'm sure you will pull it off just fine! I have faith!
My old ones are just regular oem tails, they aren't those really red ones ive seen tho if u know what I talking about. mine are like a clear lens with very dark red backing and black chrome

yeah ok I am pretty sure I have the same one on my truck. I am happy my are still clear and in shape. If you have had the kinda smoke depo one I would have considered it since I might BHLM my future head lights...

forgot to write the other half of the post... time to go to bed I think lol

For now I think I am pretty set on OME... Since I want dakars for my loaded bed and my kind of OCD wants me to have everything from the same place and brand lol

Thanks for believing in me for the seal! I think I'll do it right tomorrow. I'll update the thread and maybe make a small write up. there is already a few but the more we have write up the more chances are that it helps someone getting the job done!
