Dealerships aren't really in the business of buying back cars they've sold you. At best you could trade it in but you'd get hosed no doubt.
The recall has a stated solution too, so you're not going to have a whole lot of leverage in negotiating the value.

Which states have a lemon law that states 30 days in the shop with no other stipulations? Since you said usually I assume that you have looked at all of them.

The INTENT of lemon laws is to give relief to people who have problems with their new cars that can't seem to be fixed with multiple attempts. The PURPOSE of the day limit (30 days for example) or repair attempt limit (3 attempts to fix for example) is to keep the car companies from stringing people out indefinitely when a problem cannot be fixed. These laws were not meant to cover recall situations where a fix has been identified. Nevertheless, it is entirely possible that a good lawyer and the right judge might interpret the law to cover your situation regardless of the intent of the law, or might be good at bullying companies into settling (I don't mean bullying to have negative connotations in this case). The thing is, I have spent hours doing internet searches and have yet to find any cases of lemon laws being applied to recalls UNLESS the initial fix applied did not work resulting in multiple additional attempts. That doesn't mean it hasn't happened, but I can't find any evidence of it. Anyone else?

Unless they give you a loaner. In most states that prevents the 30 day clock.

Nope haven't looked at them all as the only state I care about is the one I live in. However I have seen and read alittle on others. Some states have almost no lemon laws, others have similar if not the same laws. It basically vary's from state to state. Only way to be sure is do research and or call a lawyer.
