I've got a snap-on toolbox full of non snap-on tools. I'll do a mod day at my place sometime in the future.

The folks at Hoover Toyota are borderline clueless about what a TSB is.

I am not judging Chris, I am trying to help.

Yes, I am fully aware that Jesus' first miracle was turning the water into wine. I also agree that having a drink or two is not a sin. Being drunk is and as you correctly pointed out gluttony is also a sin.

I do not recall telling Chris that he was going to hell for drinking or even getting drunk once. His posts would indicate that excessive drinking has become a pattern to the point of placing himself and others at risk. Eating too much is detrimental to the health of the person who does it. Excessive drinking can endanger other lives. Not condoning gluttony or being drunk.

You say we all sin daily and again you are correct. But you left out the part about confessing that sin and repenting.

Do you really believe that encouraging someone who has admitted to drinking too much to drink more is helping them? If you do then I do not understand your motive.

I don't believe I saw anyone encouraging him to drink more.

    Scotty,

Thank you for sharing your thoughts with me and the forum.

I beg to disagree with your comments about the holier than thou statement. I do not believe that I am better than anyone, period.

I have made many mistakes in my life and hope that you younger guys can avoid making some of the same ones. If I did not care for people, I would not say anything.

It is obvious that speaking up has not had the effect I had hoped for.

I will do my best to keep my opinions to myself and wish you guys the very best in everything you do.

One last thing. We disagree on profanity being a sin. Not trying to change your mind, just silence can be interpreted as agreement.

Take good care of Chris. He is a good guy.
