With new oil is just impossible to check it on the dip stick. Way too shiny and slick. So, decided to bring out the sand blaster and rough up the tip of the dip stick for the oil to stick to it and get a better reading. Worked perfect.

 

After reading through some of the recent post about the door panels. There is some small comfort that I am not the only one with this issue.
How about heel and sole dressing? Can get it in most chain drug stores. Similar to boot polish, we used it on our jump boots to keep the heels and soles black and the commander off our ass. It held up humping buffs on a hot flight line in Guam. I'll give it a try, let y'all know.

Had a custom Tradesman Truck Tops topper installed. It has a DS box with fold down shelf that I've turned into my kitchen, vent in the roof, security mesh behind the windows, insulated and lined inside, a mount for my small 8" propane tank so I can easily cook on the tailgate, LED lighting on pressure switches that turns on when you open a windoor and inside the DS box and color matched perfectly. Built a simple platform for now and it is comfortable by sleeping at a slight angle. So stoked on it!
