Got to have a few easter eggs when you do these things.

Hey @Coot83, have you had any problems with your inspection in VA with this? I'm thinking of trying it with my truck but I noticed a stupid clause in the law that said your low beams and high beams have to be the same type of bulb. Anyone ever give you a hard time? (I could be reading it incorrectly too.)

I got a buddy that inspected mine, but I did ask him if he had any issues with my hid lights which he did not. With that being said I have the bi-xenon projectors by morimoto with the proper wiring so that they both operate out of my projectors. Because of this the standard high beam location in these lights is never used as nothing is wired to them. Don't know if that helps, but if you hit up the retrofit source they can tell you all the stuff to get and they are pretty cool with giving discounts too.

Ahhh ok, so you don't use the halogen high beam. That would make it VA legal according to what I read. Cool, thanks for the response. I was going to buy from TRS anyway because I have no clue what I'm doing. I was going to get the Lexus RX 350 projectors and black out most of the shroud.

Nice man are you in va as well? If you haven't bought the hid kit I would def talk to trs as you will need a different bulb and relay harness to achieve this that the standard hid kit won't have. Trs is good about simply swapping these components out so that you arnt paying for extra parts you won't need as long as they know ahead of time.

Yeah, I'm in Alexandria. I haven't emailed them yet, I've just been reading a bunch of other build posts on here and hidplanet. I'm still in the "pre-planning" stage.
