Sound pretty good! Me and my gf are on our 5th year togheter and still feel like if it is new. Always a good feeling :)

I did a couple of things today, went to buy long chairs for my gf's mother's birthday, grabbed one for the gf too, she was happy:wink: then changed my axle seal again (seems to have no leaks now) then mowed the lawn, cleaned the backyard, threw my old rubber pool in the trailer to dump it on monday in a bin. And other small stuff. Had my gf mother for dinner (for her birthday) and finally went for a little bonfire at a friend's place. Pretty good saturday I can tell!

I don't plan to take the boat out this week end but on the next one I'll be out camping for 3 days on an island with friends. Annual boys camping. 3 days of fun. Can't wait to get there!

    Shhhhhhh!

You start saying that out loud and people will start believing it.

So I had a chuckle today during lunch thinking of your date with Mrs @Casper66 with wine & pizza. I took my wife to get brisket & sweet tea. I really really need to step up my game

It was in a series of engines that had an oil consumption issue. I took it in for it's 180,000 mile oil change and they wanted to test it. It failed. Since all my maintenance was doccumented there was never any debate. I've always done all my own service work but they treat me well there and don't over charge. I had an issue 1 time with the rear brakes they put on my Scion (only time I ever let somebody else touch my breaks) and they installed a whole new system pads, calipers, and rotors no questions

Congrats on the 5 years! Getting in good with the future in-laws is a sure way to have a long and productive relationship.

Dont forget the pics during that camping trip, both of truck & boat.

My father was surprised when I told him I was about to change the rear diff fluid. He never changed that in all his trucks and never had a problem... I might not follow the 50k service but I guess I'll do it again someday lol
Don't say that! You are a cool guy and I am glad to discuss with you! Lot of thigs to learn from a grumpy man!

She was pretty shocked I wanted to go. I don't usually enjoy vineyards anymore. As far as the other staement there's a person on here who has basically called me that whch would be why you pretty much don't see me where you used to. I'll just leave it at that

It helps when you have a dealer you can count on & trust. My local Toyota dealer is sketchy. Everytime I have gone in they try to sneak in extra parts, labor & even a new truck.

I'll try! I mostly use my phone for pics, and I usually leave it in the tent because I don't want to drop it in the water lol but of course I'll have stories to tell when i'll get back!

Edit: also thanks for the congrats! We are now planning to enjoy the house for a few years and then think about kids. But don't think too much hahaha

All respect to you :hattip: you are a beacon of hope that not all goes to shit when the hair goes grey. Paid off house, build Taco, bitchin Camaro & dates with the wife. If I grow up to be like this I would consider it a win in life.

I ran around as Bf/Gf for 7 years until Mrs @Justanotherhemi basically proposed. I was ready to be free for another 3 years before I popped the question.

Shit we got married when I had just turned 20 and she was 18. We were engaged for her last semester of HS. I think most thought we were either crazy or she was pregnant. Now, over 30 years later they know we were rt

Yeah something like this haha! But as I said, she, and I also, don't really plan to get officially married. We are well right now so we don't see the need of it. It's been a year now since we owned the house, so for the government and all, we are considerated like a true couple, and I am allright with that!!
