I love my Tacoma, but not quite satisfied with the looks. Any ideas to make it look better? Currently I have billsteins at .85, Mickey T's with 265/70R17 BFGs. Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

Kinda difficult to say, everyone has a different taste or idea of how they want their rig to look.

Personally if it was mine, I'd get rid of anything and everything with chrome and paint it black or color matched to the body. I'd bake the headlight black too (Im a sucker for black headlight housings).. I like black fender flares more than the color matched ones too but again personal opinion. Try looking around the forum! There's a lot of awesome builds on here for some ideas

    Roof rack. Adds height.
    Scoop.
    Mud flaps.
    Chrome's gotta go.

    Tire/wheels/lift look good.

Agreed on getting rid of the chrome and getting black fender flares. Maybe replace your steps with sliders?

As others before me have said, get rid of some chrome.

I would suggest changing/ modding your grill, my preference is the TRD PRO grill no chrome on it, and its got TOYOTA across it like the first pickup trucks.
You can also paint that name to match your paint (later) for more individuality.

I would also do mud flaps, it's amazing how much that changes the looks.
That should keep you happy for the next three months till the next makeover.

    Hope that helps!
    Cheers!

A new camera so you can take proper (straight/level/fill the whole frame) photos, unless you are a 16 y/o girl.

man, the photos are a pisser. good photos would help see your truck better if you truly want some suggestions. For now, what everyone else said. Tint front windows, 86 the chrome. Black out the headlights and the badges.

Drop bracket lift, 32" KO2's white walls out on 20x12's, Light bars, as many as you can fit. Hoonigan stickers, functional hood scoop, bluest LEDS lights you can find, Limo Tint Windshield, maybe some fender vents, TRD Pro, Sport and Off-Road decals.

It looks pretty sweet as is. Let me know if you need advice on how to finance mods. Welcome to TW :mudding:

Sorry everyone haha I feel certain angles make it stand out more. Here is a flat level pic before I swapped the stock grill. Thanks everyone for the input, the criticism is much appreciated

Add a softopper. Not only will you get the amazing functionality of it, i feel it adds sort of a pseudo military toughness type look to the truck. Love the way my softopper looks on my rig. Good luck with what ever you decide
