I have a 2014 tacoma double cab with JBL in it right now. It has the sirius sat antenna and factory gps in it right now. I am changing the deck out to an aftermarket one and use idatalink mastero rr to keep te steering wheel controls. I am looking at the sirius svx300 to add so I can listen to sirius. I would like to retain the factory antenna in the shark fin but I have heard that there is no adapter from the factory antenna to a svx300. has anyone had luck modding the factory end and if so how? Or is it just as easy to use the antenna that comes with the svx300?

second question is when using the Metra 40-LX11 antenna adapter. I hook the blue wire from the adapter to pioneer blue/white along with the factory amp for turn on?
