Cruise control doesn't work sometimes?

Check the tension on the wire that goes to the throttle. I had this issue of cruuse only working sometimes, and when I went to adjust my throttle cable, I noticed the cruise one was also stretched. A adjusted the nut on it and it works now.

 

I thought my cruise was having problems until i realized it was me..my left foot bounces up every so often when i hit a bump and it hits the clutch pedal.

I feel like my tacoma had a recall on the cruise like 15 years ago. I seem to remember it would sometimes not come on and then it would also go off Randomly going down the highway. mine is an auto V6
