Pioneer DEH 80PRS won't fit?

Per Crutchfield this won't fit in my 2010. Anyone have experience with it?

Have a single DIN Kenwood so I already have the dash kit..

 

I have one in my 1st gen - fits just fine. It's a standard single DIN, so should go right in where the single DIN Kenwood goes.

 

Mine is 2nd gen so maybe that's why

 

But you have a single DIN Kenwood in there now, right? The 80PRS fits a standard single DIN opening - just like the Kenwood.

 

Yup, that's what I figured.

The Crutchfield rep I spoke with today said the same, so should be fine. Odd though

 

Is it too deep? The depths is the only variable here

 

Crutchfield will say anything won't fit even if all you have to do is add a trim ring around a speaker. If it doesn't directly fit in without any effort they will claim it won't fit.

 

I thought depth may be it but further digging says no. I explained to the rep I declined the dash kit as part of it online since I already have one.

 

Always better to have a extra and not need it. Can always give it away on here.
